The Lake County 2050 General Plan is a community driven vision guiding Lake County toward a sustainable and resilient future.
The County of Lake is committed to resilience and sustainability. The Lake County 2050 General Plan is the blueprint steering the community toward a prosperous future, with a focus on crucial areas like Health and Safety, Water Resources, and Agricultural Resources. This general plan reflects community needs and aspirations. By involving stakeholders and incorporating feedback, Lake County 2050 aims to translate local priorities into actionable policies for a prosperous future.
Meetings Held. Following extensive community engagement in April and May 2024, a comprehensive list of key issues has been identified, reflecting the concerns and hopes of Lake County residents.
The General Plan Advisory Committee met on June 28 to review the key issues and offer guidance in preparation for the second series of local community workshops.
Purpose. The essence of Lake County 2050 lies in capturing the community’s values and goals for our County, not just for tomorrow but for generations to come.
