Lake County Behavioral Health Services is seeking new or gently used towel donations to support people accessing community shower facilities.

Peer Support Centers, operated by Lake County Behavioral Health Services, play a crucial role in supporting the well-being of Lake County's residents. Among the many invaluable services they offer is providing access to showers through partnerships with SWIM in Nice and the Highlands Senior Service Center in Clearlake. Although shower facilities were previously available at the Big Oak Peer Support Center, we are currently working to restore this essential service soon.


A significant challenge faced by agencies that offer shower services is the ongoing shortage of towels and washcloths. Donations of new or gently used towels are urgently needed to meet the demands of the community. Your contribution can make a tangible difference in the lives of those who rely on these services.


Donations can be dropped off at any of the following locations during business hours:
